Call to Worship:
One: Day has come from Night! Creation awakens! The Spirit dances on the waters and from them a new Dawn is born!
All: On this Day we may begin anew!
One: New Life is given! From the waters of Chaos, from the waters of sameness, the diverse wonders of the world are born.
All: This is the day, the day of New Creation!

One: God is with us in this place!
All: God is present at this table!
One: In Bread and Cup, God is with us!
All: In Christ God has shown us the way of love and New Life!
One: We give thanks to God, Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer of Life!
All: We give you thanks for your Holy Breath moves in all Life and in its rhythm new life comes to be! You have acted to bring freedom from slavery and called usthrough prophets that we might act to build a community of justice, reconciliation and compassion. In Christ you have shown us this new way, a way that can overcome even death.
VU 951
One: In the birth pains of Mary Christ was born as one with us, in the cross Christ knows our human suffering, and on the third day Christ was raised up, New Life before us! In this God is with us in all of life!
All: We are called to practice resurrection as a way of hope in the life of the world!
One: Spirit of Life, be present for us in this Communion that we might know our unity in diversity. Scattered as the leaven in the loaf!
All: We are the Body of Christ!
One: So it is we do what Jesus did the night he was betrayed. He took the bread and after he had given thanks for it he broke it open, gave it to his disciples and said, “Take, eat, this is of my flesh.” He also took the cup filled with wine and said, “Drink from it all of you for this is of my life-blood,” which flows out onto the earth as a healing stream
All: We give thanks for the feast of New Life!
One: Let the Spirit work through these elements that we may find unity in the Christ. Christ in us and we in Christ.
All: Through Christ, with Christ and in Christ in the Unity of the Spirit Now and Forever, Amen.
One: The bread of life broken open for the Life of the world! The cup of blessing poured out for all! Come join the feast!
(Servers now come forward to receive the elements. We have two stations. The elements are shared with the words, “The bread of Life” and “The cup of blessing.” We share communion by dipping the bread in the cup)
